We will continue to pray for everyone affected globally and especially for our Cowcliffe & Fixby communities.

At St Hilda’s Church we have 4 initiatives which are raising monies for our Building Fund and as anyone who has visited us over the last 12 months knows, we are desperate to redecorate the main body of the Church.

  1. Jennifer is now making Christmas Decorations. the single stars are £1; Rudolph is £2.50 and the 3 stars/hearts are £5. Contact Colin on 07787 518483 to place your order and he will also arrange a “safe distance” home delivery within the Fixby, Cowcliffe and Bradley areas.

2. Jennifer continues to make face masks. They have a cotton front & back with flannel in the middle and they are available for a donation of £4 each. There are 2 sizes, large & small.  Should you want any of the face masks, you can either visit Ma Baker’s sandwich shop on the Bradford Road near the Fartown traffic lights (open 0900 to 1200 Monday to Friday)  or contact Colin on 07787 518483 and he will arrange a “safe distance” home delivery within the Fixby, Cowcliffe and Bradley areas.

3. Rita is making preserves (jams & jellies ++)

4. and Joyce will undertake sewing alterations both for a donation towards the Building Fund. Details are in the newsletter below
